Library and Information Science Centre :

The school library is open to all bonafide students of the school. All classes are provided

with at least one library period a week. Students have to observe the following rules:

Each student is issued only one book at XI time for a period of only one week. They may

however renew it later. They must maintain absolute silence in the library.

1.If the books are returned late, the borrowing facility is withdrawn for four weeks.

2.Books lost, disfigured, or damaged will have to be replaced or paid for by the borrower.

3.Students are not allowed to bring their personal books or belongings to the library.

4.Children found damaging Or defacing a book regularly will be debarred from the library.

5.Students who do not return the library book one .: week prior to the exams will not be allowed to take the examination.

6.The librarian may call for a book at any time even if the normal period of loan has not expired. The rule applies to the members Of teaching faculty and clerical staff also.

7.User/ Borrower should inform the librarian about any mark or damage which is already existing before the use of such books.

8.Reference books like Dictionary, Encyclopedia, etc cannot be taken home. Can be read in the library only.

9.Issue of the books shall be stopped 15 days before the close of the current academic year for stocktaking and checking.

10.students are encouraged to utilize the library extensively for their reference and to enjoy reading.

11.One book at a time may be loaned to the student which could be retained for a week and returned promptly on the due date.

12.Careful handling of the book, with no tearing off of pages or underlining is essential If any damage is noticed, the book must be replaced by the concerned student.
